Notes from Notchcode

In case you wanted to know...

What do you get when you ask for Peace, Love, and Understanding on the web?

Well, a Software company specializing in browser-based software for energy companies, AOL's branded matchmaking service, and a guy who "is devoted to discovering new uses for the matrix tools and thinking methods as they relate to communicating and documenting complex planning and decision making situations. "

yeah, whatever.

if all of this leaves you a little disillusioned, don't worry, get happy!

man....i never thought cloning cold be so boooorrrrring. OK, so it's like the most basic photo-cleanup chore any digital imagist needs to do on a given file, but STILL....must be the fact that it's so damn beautiful outside, and I'm stuck in here cloning dust off of people's faces, removing trees from backgrounds, etc. etc.....now i know how stalin's photo propagandist must have felt, all cooped up in his lab in the basement of the kremlin during a nice Moscow spring day, removing people from official photographs while hearing the footsteps and laughs of his comrades above heading out to grab a bite of lunch or stroll along the river with their mistresses....

well, I'll get over it.

Saw the Pierre Bonnard exhibit at the Denver art Museum for the second time today. Worth seeing, even if you don't like impressionists. find all the cats in the paintings and win a prize!

Well, things are running pretty smoothly here in notchcodeland. Sorry there hasn't been more to write about lately. Temps have been high, almost summer-like, this past week, so the official Notchcode dress code now switches from long pants to shorts.
