Participatory Action Research for Educational Leadership book update
I got this e-mail from our editorial coordinator at SAGE yesterday:
Hello Alana, Alan, and Margaret,
It is my pleasure to let you know that Participatory Action Research for Educational Leadership has gone to press today, on schedule, for printing in July.

To the Publisher!
My co-authors and I are about to send our baby off to the publisher. We did an inter-continental conference call (gotta love Skype) this morning (evening for them) and ironed out the stuff that needed to be completed. I spent most of this afternoon completing a few stray graphics, collecting everything into nice, tidy packages, and checking all the items off of my to-do list, one by one.
And now it's off to Alana and Margie for one last glance, then off to California to the publisher, where it will be copyedited, typeset, proofread, and then published. More info on the book as it comes closer to being a reality. In the meantime, here are a couple of the illustrations I contributed to the book.Labels: alana, book, design, illustration, margie

Whisky Photo
I have learned that a photo of mine will be appearing in a book about whisky (that's Scotch to you infidels), to be published by Appletree Press in 2007. Can't wait to see it in print!
The image, of a bottle of Cask-strength Glen Grant, is pictured here. Glen Grant is one of the best, and rarest, whiskys I've had the pleasure of hosting in my pantry. It's almost gone, so now you know what to get me for the holidays, eh?Labels: book, photography, whisky
