back from holiday, and buried in paper!
I love how you return from vacation all rested, and relaxed...
...and then spend the next week buried in mail, invoicing, bills, and 537 e-mails to return.
The post-vacation catch up is something all of us (without assistants who never take a holiday, at least) have to put up with it. So how do you cope? What strategies do you have that make getting back into the flow of work easier?

This washed up on the shore near Amsterdam the other day.
Of course you know it came from Denmark...home to the yellow people. I just had no idea they were so tall there.
The odd thing is the caption on the body of Really Large Legoman: "NO REAL THAN YOU ARE." Now, c'mon, I know the Danes speak better English than I do, so wassup with the bad lingo, eh?Labels: bad english, beach, danes, lego

Simpsonize me!
Not really a fan of Burger King, but their Flash Nerds made a pretty neeto application: take a photo of yourself over to simpsonizeme.com/ and Kang and Kodos will turn you into a Simpson-like version of yourself. It takes a while, but they got it pretty close to perfect from an application standpoint. Here I am, at left.
